Circus Swingapore

Introducing Circus Swingapore, a brand new school for Circus Arts! Offering an exciting line up of fun ways to keep fit and fabulous, Circus Swingapore trains Circus skills in a safe and comfortable environment. If you’ve ever dreamt of cartwheels, flying or spinning way above the heads of the audience, then roll right up and sign up for a recreation circus arts course!

Circus Arts covers a wide range of skills. Courses include:
* Acrobatics, with tumbles, rolls, handstands and cartwheels.
* Lyra or Aerial Hoop which involves poses and moves on a large metal ring suspended in the air.
* Silks, or Aerial Dance, where the performer uses a long piece of fabric hanging from the ceiling to wind around the body and create drops and locking poses.
* Static Trapeze, also known as fixed trapeze, is a type of circus art performed on the trapeze, a short horizontal bar hung by ropes or metal straps from a support. The performer moves around the bar and ropes, performing a wide range of movements including balances, drops, hangs while the bar itself stays mostly in place. The difficulty is making every move look effortless.
* Circus Fitness is a class that focuses on strengthening and stretching your muscles, to enable you to perform Circus aerial and acrobatics tricks effectively and gracefully. If you are looking for a programme that improves your strength and flexibility at the same time, this class will do exactly that! Using circus apparatus such as Trapeze and Aerial Hoop as pull-up bars and crash mats for splits and overspilts, you are sure that our instructors have no shortage of fun ideas to stretch and tone your body for the full hour! No Circus tricks will be taught in this class.
