SWINGVITATION 2012 with Jordan Frisbee & Tatiana Mollman
Jitterbugs Swingapore and Mosaic Dance are proud to present Swingvitation 2012. This is your chance to elevate your level of West Coast Swing dancing by learning from the best of the best. Jordan Frisbee and Tatiana Mollman have been dancing together for more than 10 years, winning multiple awards for their dancing, and for promoting West Coast Swing worldwide. As two of the most popular West Coast Swing instructors in the world, they travel extensively, 48 out of 52 weekends per year, teaching and performing at international events and inspiring thousands of dancers the world over.
If you have never taken a West Coast Swing (WCS) class before but have always wanted to try a partner dance, you too can be part of Swingvitation. To help you get a head start, we're providing the Swingvitation Intensive - WCS classes at Jitterbugs Swingapore and Mosaic Dance, 7 days a week.
The Swingvitation Intensive is a special WCS programme designed to prepare even complete beginners to take classes from the pros when they arrive on our shores. From mid Oct 2011, participants will be entitled to take WCS classes at Jitterbugs Swingapore and Mosaic Dance in the run up to the Swingvitation weekend, with classes running 7 days a week. Prices for the Intensive include the full event pass worth S$480 (The full event pass includes up to 10 workshops

"Stories From The Pavement" is the 2010/11 DAP graduation show and it examines the chaos that represents our urban society, moving in a million different directions at the same time. Join 8 of our graduating dancers as they tell you their stories based on their own personal journey through dance; through these endless pavements in our urban jungle.

Social Saturday
The X'mas Present Edition - for Thailand Flood Relief
Social Saturday is back, this time to raise funds for the Thai flood victims. Join us to do what we love best - dance, while showing some love to the many people suffering from the biggest flood disaster in Thailand’s recent history.
As usual, we will be running different music in different studios, so you can dance your heart out to Lindy Hop, Salsa, West Coast Swing or Zouk! There will be performances, demos and a competition to watch. So put on your best Christmas baubles and social for a cause!
The recipient of our efforts, the Baan Arsa Jaidee Flood Relief Centre in Bangkok was started by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation. Together with their partners , they mobilize volunteers; coordinate aid; deliver timely flood information; and deliver survival bags, food, medicine, camp toilets, life jackets and other assistance to the flood-affected communities.

Semi-Finals (max 20 groups) will make it to the semi-finals on stage in front of The Cathay (2 Handy Road), on Sat 21 May and Sat 28 May 2011 between 7 and 9 pm.
FINALS - Move Move™ Dance Competition
The Grand Finale will take place at the Move Move™ Dance Party in the evening of Sat 11 June 2011 at Fort Canning Park. 10 groups will compete at the Finals, with Kumar as the host and ‘Jai-Ho’ choreographer Longinus as one of the four judges.
